Wife and I going a bit up north for a nice dinner tonight. Gonna take the Pony out. Should clock about 100 miles round trip today. Longest the car has been out in 6 months.
Currently have the guys at 5Star tuning making a 91 performance tune and should have it early next week. 91 is the highest octane you'll find at common pumps here in AZ. Locating anything higher looks like too much of a chore and driving 10+ miles one way just to fill up is not something I'm interested in doing. Along with having to fill up if we take this car to Northern Arizona at all during the fall. Tune cost $160 due to them calibrating the tune for the Cam work on the car. Otherwise they normally run about $100 for anyone interested. It's a birthday present for myself this month. [Reply]

That's what we did yesterday. Wife and I took a 100 mile cruise up to a nice dinner last night. Got it to 22 miles close to E and filled it up at Chevron with 91.
Will be interesting to see how much difference I notice with a tune on the car. [Reply]

Dang, that tune feels like it woke my car up more than I expected! Throttle response feels noticeably different. Realized on taking it out after programming the tune that the speedometer was off. For a second I thought my 0-60 time was insane!
Reflashed the tune and adjusted the gear ratio and we are back on point with the speedometer. I should have gotten a tune when I bought this car. Oh well, live and learn.
Rained here last night so flowers in bloom along with a few clouds in a pristine blue AZ sky. Liked this shot of the car this morning before a quick cruise.
