Why? The results of this game do not matter. Of course they were going to get housed. They were playing a freshman QB but that shouldn't matter. They earned the right to go by going undefeated and winning the ACC. If they are actually good or not SHOULD have nothing to do with it.

I'm not sure why anyone thought the fsu/Georgia game would go any different. Fsu had half their team take off because they were told the games they played didn't matter. They also were trying to avoid getting hurt so their chances next year aren't discounted either.

Georgia was similarly "told" that EASILY being one of the top 4 teams "didn't matter", yet they went out and whooped that ass anyway. Georgia SHOULD have been in the playoff; FSU CLEARLY should NOT have been and the game, unsurprisingly, bore that out.
