Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
I think it was mentioned in another thread, but I loved seeing Mahomes go and get the football after Pachecho spiked it. He's done it before for other players. As soon as Pachecho threw it, I said, "Mahomes will go and get that for him. He's going to want to keep the ball from his first NFL TD." Sure enough.
How did we manage to get the most talented QB in the NFL that's also a well-spoken, media-savvy, born leader that's a selfless teammate? [Reply]

One of Allen's INT's was 100% the fault of the receiver, but the other INT was 100% the fault of Allen. Chris Collinsworth loudly made a big deal about the first INT, but gave zero criticism of Allen on the 2nd throw. Collinsworth is the owner/leader of PFF. There are double standards being applied to these guys. [Reply]
When Pacheco tossed the ball, I said someone needs to go get that ball for him. My son said that Patrick probably would. Sure enough, he did. Mahomes is a good dude for sure. And his brain is always focused on the small details, like this. We're so very fortunate to have him on our team. [Reply]

Lmao, the “ not his fault “ category that was completely unmentioned last year. [Reply]

Indeed...Collinsworth was there when Tyreek tipped the ball to the Buffalo defense for a Pick 6. Very little was said to defend Mahomes in that situation, compared to his whining on behalf of Allen last Thursday.
I still don't understand how either Davis Mills or Tom Brady were graded basically the same as Mahomes yesterday. Brady looked like shit against Dallas. Mills did nothing special in that Houston game. I watched every snap of it. [Reply]

I mean, the WHOLE POINT of PFF is that they have people actually watch the games and break them down. Anybody that saw those two games (Minny and Tennessee) and thought those 2 were better than Mahomes isn't actually WATCHING.
to be fair they could have like a headwound or a massive tumor pressing on their prefrontal cortex [Reply]

In one of his comments, he basically said Mahomes was equal to Allen. Yet they don't explain why Allen is graded 20 points higher.
The bigger problem is the Mahomes grade compared to Davis Mills and Tom Brady. Neither of those guys played very well in their games. Brady looked like crap for the most part. Mills was good for 3 quarters and then did nothing to help his team win down the stretch. They had a 20-3 lead and ended up with a 20-20 tie after Overtime. How the hell are you grading Mahomes the same as that guy? [Reply]

I thought Allen looked great in that game. But not as good as Mahomes and Allen had a pick that was his own doing.
