Not playing dumb, you'll reference the runner's marathon article from a while back about bodys acclimating differently @ high altitudes when it's warm. I get it.

It all boils down to you have a fundamental issue with the location (altitude) in general. Denver could have all road games in the first 4 weeks and there would still be screams of foul play.
