Against the Chiefs.
There is a lot of confirmation bias. I doubt that most of the idiots will see it as being rigged. To them it would be a fair game. They are going to continue to review the game for every marginal call that went the Chiefs way to confirm their world view. While ignoring all of the calls that went againstt he Chiefs. I do not see this stopping as long as Taylor and Mahomes are in the stadium.
The beauty for their side, one can see holding about every play. There are always 2-3 calls/no calls that seem to go against both teams every game. We are able to over come most of those and Patrick is amazing in one score games. [Reply]

Those stories now recirculate on social media almost infinitely.
Social media algorithms favor content creators with high engagement scores. When ALL of those content creators are saying the same thing, it's impossible to avoid.
It's not a simple case of grooming and pruning your feeds. You can't. It's such a universal argument at this point, it's impossible to avoid. [Reply]
A video from 7 years ago and all the comments under it is the exact same shit we're seeing today. This isn't new. Embrace the fact that we're the new villains of the sports world.
Nobody said it was new.
It's not new, it's just way more prevalent. [Reply]

The problem is that you cannot get unbiased coverage anywhere now, not unlike the rest of the media. You get to take your pick between bullshit that confirms your bias or bullshit that doesn't. [Reply]
So don't partake? Again, none of this is new at all. It's all tailored to be engagement bait nowadays. Hell, isn't SI almost exclusively AI garbage nowadays? [Reply]
I have been fortunate enough to see the Jayhawks, Royals, and Chiefs win titles.
You know the common thread behind every one of those championships? Opposing fans claiming every. single. one. was rigged. Yes, even the Royals run in 2015 would not have been possible without the anti-Canadian umpires and the 19 year old Amish kid who caught a home run in Game 6 of the 2015 ALCS (I’m being completely serious).
Some people only know how to be haters. It’s who they are, it’s who they’ll always be. Let their rage fuel you. Because we’ve been the lovable doormat, and I’d take this 100 out of 100 times compared to the Chiefs of the past. [Reply]

It's all AI garbage. And I don't partake. I disabled all my socials.
It's just a sad commentary on our society. [Reply]

Mostly good points. Although, to be fair, There isn’t a sports team in America that has benefitted more from biased officiating than kU basketball in Allen Fieldhouse. [Reply]
