The series went differently though
Bibee and skubal both got a little touched up in their second start of the series. Meanwhile Cleveland had success leaning on their bullpen except for one game when a cy young closer shockingly got rocked.
Cleveland has an excellent bullpen and they decided to lean on them. Not the worst strategy in a playoff series where the same team gets lots and lots of looks at the same starters. [Reply]
Changing their name to Guardian is lame as hell. That atmosphere they had with the drum and Manny, Thome, Lofton running around is simply gone. [Reply]

It’s not a bad strategy on a macro level (which is why these FOs tell their manager to do it). Game context should matter on a micro level though in these playoff games and the fact that it doesn’t so often these days couldn’t be any more silly to me. [Reply]
