TBH, I wouldn't want to face those opponents either as the #2 seed. The Bengals have tons of weapons and play the Chiefs well, while the Broncos have no weapons and always plays the Chiefs well. Tough games either way.
That makes this game Sunday that much more important. Clinch the top seed and relax the first weekend.
We were rather fortunate to face a crumbling Miami in the first playoff game a season ago. That was a favorable matchup for KC, plus the weather element. The Bills had their own favorable matchup against Pittsburgh in the first playoff game last year. There's no telling who you'd face this season as the #2 or #3 seed. [Reply]
I'm excited to see Ju-Ju and Hopkins on the field together....add in Kelce and someone is going to find the hole in Zone...especially with Worthy taking the top off.
He had a 130 yard game before hurting his hamstring...
Something has to give...
Kind of preliminary glimpse of what this team will look like in about month... with a Pacheco/Hunt combo and Hollywood Brown. That's going to be a handful...on paper, it's looks amazing. [Reply]

Rice/Brown get hurt...they get JuJu.
JuJu gets hurt...they get Hopkins.
Pacheco gets hurt...they get Hunt.
So it looks like KC will have Kelce, Brown, Ju-Ju. Hopkins, Pacheco and Hunt...along with Worthy and Hardman in about a month.
Three of these players wouldn't be here without the injuries. Chiefs are going to start putting up points come late December. Having Hunt on a 10-12 carry pitch count would be brutal in a January 4th quarter. [Reply]

Good thing media pundit opinions don’t impact wins/losses or we would be drafting #1. [Reply]

Bills fan is coping. That’s all.
If the Chiefs take the 1, the path is oh so clear to the Super Bowl.
Play the worst remaining team at home while coming off a bye. That team has also probably been playing for their lives the last several weeks. Chiefs are winning that one most likely.
Then, ANOTHER home AFCCG for a chance to finish the Three Peat. That atmosphere will be insane. [Reply]

If Pacheco can come back and at that point Hunt can just take the short yardage plays and some receptions out of the backfield then that's the absolute perfect use case for him IMOP and he will excel at it. [Reply]

I think Buffalo gets the 2 seed bc Baltimore and Pittsburgh play each other twice and the rest do that division.
Bills vs Bengals or Broncos in WC IMO
I’d really like to eliminate Buffalo in the AFC title game, but Cinci beating them first round would be hilarious [Reply]
Best offensive game plan to beat Buffalo, is RUN THE BALL, Bills run defense is awful. Also lots of screens especially to Worthy and Hardman. Honestly, play safe and conservative (aka boring) football and they should win easily.
Defense, spy with Bolton or Tranquil, and lots of blitzes. [Reply]
