With RB Isiah Pacheco expected to be sideliend 6-8 weeks, the Chiefs are bringing their former RB Kareem Hunt back to Kansas City for a Tuesday visit, per league sources. Hunt could help fill the Chiefs’ running back void. pic.twitter.com/nDzNGlrcuH
Kareem is still a very good short yardage RB, which happens to be a major weakness for the Chiefs. He got 9 TD’s last year despite averaging only 3 yards per carry. Would be awesome if he can make a big difference in picking up first downs & TD’s in short yardage. [Reply]

Give me 3 yards a carry, no fumbles and good blocking and I'll take it. [Reply]
Reunion: The #Chiefs are signing their own former star RB Kareem Hunt, who visited with and worked out for the team today, source says. Hell start on the PS and help fill the void left by Isiah Pacheco’s injury, which will put him out potentially two months. pic.twitter.com/yqlv7F4Suz
I don't expect 2018 Hunt just like anyone else, but we're fooling ourselves if we think he isn't gonna see the lightest boxes he's had consistently since.... 2018.
And with a nice powerful line in front of him too.

This is the equivalent of Le'veon Bell, Melvin Gordon or whatever rerun at RB the Chiefs have signed the past couple years. If Hunt gets a couple carries for a few yards, great. If he's cut in a few weeks, so be it. If the magical powers of Mahomes causes him to regain the fountain of youth and he runs for 500 yards... well Chiefs.
Not the same at all. The season before coming to KC neither of those players had stats as productive as Kareem's. Kareem was on a whole different level to those guys. Plus he knows elements of the system and they didn't. That makes a big difference imo. [Reply]
