It was hard to really tell over the sounds of him patting himself on the back so vociferously, but yeah that seemed to be the gist of it.
A) He's a punter.
B) We did this before the combine when it will be a topic of conversation.
C) The Chiefs have a history of issuing brief statements in these matters and moving on.
D) I mean maybe he didn't rape her, but she said some gross stuff and he appears to have had sex with her outside the party at some point prior to the events in question.
E) Not guilty isn't the same as innocent.
F) This is all very gross and I'm just too pure to have to speak to such grossness.
There's a little hand-wringing at the beginning, but I'll just skip to right about the moment he mounts his soapbox and starts reading the article he wrote because "It's probably just the most appropriate way for me to do this..."

Him and Taylor arguing and laughin about the agency statement that "our client has been through hell" was pretty telling from the two of them. Optics of an accusation - be it true, false, or otherwise - outweighs the fact that in their own account of the events that they read earlier in the show proved that he was falsely accused.
Just honestly pretty gross behavior from people who act above everyone else by being just gobstruck that they have to lower themselves to talking about the details and what actually happened at all. [Reply]

It was very cringe.
Very cringe indeed.
Nate Taylor and Josh Briscoe are lame AF. A good number of Chiefs e-celebs/podcasters would do well to decrease their soy intake significantly.
Even while silent, as Briscoe blathers away, Taylor grimaces and squirms around like he himself is vicariously enduring the lying whore's fake trauma. :-) [Reply]

That whole speech was just so goddamn self righteous. He's incredibly soft and completely full of shit. [Reply]
I like the inside the locker room bits Taylor brings about 5 times per season, and Keysor knows X's and O's well enough. Briscoe is an obnoxious douche who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room.
That podcast is good when they are actually talking about football (so only Nate and Seth), but when they are doing their ridiculous ad libs, annoying screechy voices, and going on non football tangents...yuck. [Reply]

They're up and down, for sure.
That was easily - EASILY - the worst show they've ever done even going back to their early Time's Ours day.
FFS the last 5 minutes were Brisco talking about his goddamn birdfeeder. It was horrible. If that were my introduction to that show, I'd have never even given it a 2nd chance.
If they insist on doing 2 episodes a week in the off-season and THAT'S the caliber of episode they're going to put out...don't. [Reply]
“To hell and back”…uhh yeah. Being falsely accused of a horrendous crime and having your dream ripped away from you is about right. Dude’s life was almost ruined.
He kept saying that Araiza “technically wasn’t there”. Technically? All evidence says he wasn’t there. What’s this “technically” qualifier? [Reply]

In fairness Josh is probably the one who derails things the least. They like to joke about Seth being the problem, but when it's the worst it's always Nate. [Reply]

They’re fortunate that YouTube started hiding the number of thumbs down.
They’re getting destroyed in the comments though. Deservedly so. [Reply]
