This thread takes up so much space. I'd kill it at this point if I owned this site. I mean, MHM comes by and does the "I don't really get to see the games", "VJ needs to be fired and then it'll be better", and "we shall see" stuff. He seems like a good enough guy though as he hasn't spouted too much BS other than not really admitting that the thin air props his teams actual abilities up and that the two SB wins in the 90s were sort of tainted. Other than him, the other posters, Kranz, Tombstone BJ, and Knownot should be banned from this thread at the very least for being nothing but trolls the past two seasons. [Reply]

Yep. At the very least mods, should rename the thread something like BRONCOS OWNED BY KC Mega Thread.
We put up with so much BS from the Mule Toolers when they were front runners, for them not to show up and take their medicine now, proves their true intent for showing up in the first place was NEVER about "talking football." If it was, they would be here now when it's OUR TURN to talk!...:-) [Reply]
At the very least, we must maintain the historical archive of the disintegration. If we begin shortly before the "Seahawk Super Bowl Massacre", that should eliminate quite a bit of data and allow us to proceed unhindered and smoothly. [Reply]

We did sweep you this year. Soooo... there's that. [Reply]

I see most of the games, but I have always missed a couple every year going back a decade. [Reply]

There's just no wind behind the sails to talk noise... I mean, if there was some sort of fight in the Broncos in the losses, that would be one thing. There are bright spots, but shit... they're just depressing to watch.
It will be interesting to see how things play out for KC this season.
AZ, @ Rams, bye, @ Raiders, Chargers, @ SEA, Raiders
KC needs to stay 1 game up on NEP to maintain homefield.
@ TEN, bye, @ Jets, MIN, @ MIA, @ PIT, BUF, Jets
Maybe KC loses to the Rams? That's really the only loss I can see (feel dirty saying that). Will NE run the table, trip up vs MIN or @ PIT, @ Jets?
If KC can hold on to the 1 seed, they're going to be damn hard to beat in the AFC. The toughest games KC has played were the Denver and Patriot games, outside of that - they've been up pretty big in the 4th.
I think it would be nice to watch another KC/NEP matchup and that's likely what we are setting up for in the playoffs.
The Rams game in a few weeks should be good one too... maybe a precursor for a rematch later on for all the marbles. Mahomes is one hell of a game changer in that offense, worth everything KC paid for him and more.
By the time they get that fixed, it will be time for an all out rebuild and players like Von Miller and Harris will be traded somewhere for picks.
They got the running game going which is a good foundation to start at. They have a good WR in Sutton, so they have some pieces..but that QB issue they have is nightmare-ish, and they'll only be as good as their QB.
Their D is good, not what it once was...but again, by the time they get the QB right, it will be time to sell off their remaining stars for a rebuild. Maybe I'm wrong, but how long is Von Miller gonna be cool w/ being on a losing football team?
And Vance Joseph is a terrible head coach. A gradeA certified moron on the gridiron. I can't see how he's not fired in the offseason. Elway doesn't seem like the kind of guy who has patience for losing. [Reply]

All true... don't know why he hasn't fired Vance yet, the natives are restless and Elway should know he'll win back fan support quickly by firing him. Hell, Musgraves has proven to be fairly unimaginative.
In theory, Denver can part ways with Keenum next year - he's a $10M charge either way. Would save them $11M if I am looking at it right.
Don't know what the draft looks like and there isn't much on FA, so they would have to seek a trade for a guy, but doubt there's anyone really of interest.
I still think most of Denver's problems are the OL and lack of a viable TE. Fix those two things and Case would look a bit better and you could ride out 2019 with him. They finally have what looks like a decent run game and the WRs are solid.
Eli's on his last leg and they'd likely part with him, but that would be stupid...
Case is the guy for right now, so they should upgrade the pieces in front of him and cross their fingers. [Reply]

KC was up pretty big on Denver too at Arrowhead (30 - 14) to start the 4th.
You're spot on about KC needing Home Field. Even then, its gonna be an adventure with our _efence. The hope is that they will improve enough to be respectable, and they do seem to play better at home.
Regardless, IN MAHOMES WE TRUST, so BRING IT! [Reply]
Since 1990, four teams (3%) started 3-6 yet made it to playoffs: 1994 Patriots (10-6), 1995 Lions (10-6), 1996 Jaguars (Doh!, 9-7); 2012 Washington (10-6, Mike Shanahan). Broncos in position to become the fifth. #9sports
