Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
The one time you guys could be mad at the media and you're like "No, those reporters had to ask about Jackson and Brittany at the presser. It was good and right that they did that. 100% Jackson and Brittany's fault. We love the KC media." [Reply]
2) Found new ways to optimize physical performance in-season w/ on field PRs including a league leading yards per rush (adjusted kneel downs) and 16 more TDs outside the pocket than any other QB.
We came up short. We learn & we fight again. This is a GREAT opportunity to pursue truth in performance.
Being your physical best at the end of the season is a team accomplishment. Thank you to the entire team 15, everyone following the journey. We will be better next year! pic.twitter.com/cdTql8HEjo
He was “healthy” going into the season BUT healthy isn’t peak. When you have to rehabilitate something there is acclimation from return to play to peak performance.
If you look at studies on that procedure, not many players get back to original speed. Certainly not within year

In the four seasons that Mahomes has been starting, we've hosted four straight Championship games, went to two Super Bowls, and won one Super Bowl. Literally going to the AFCCG 100% of the time, going to the Super Bowl 50% of the time and winning the Super Bowl 25%.
Even Tom Brady went to the Super Bowl less than half the time he was in the league and won the Super Bowl about 30% of the time.
We've had a pretty decent run with ol' Patty cakes. These last four seasons have been SO much more fun than the ones that preceded them. Remember consistently getting bounced in the Wild Card Round? lol
Brady actually played 20 seasons without being injured or on the bench like was the first year. So, he actually won the SB 35% of those seasons and appeared in 50% of them.
That being said, Chiefs under Mahomes/Hill/Kelce and Andy Reid have been off to a great start. The challenge is keeping it up as Hill/Kelce get older and Mahomes has a higher cap number. KC has made the playoff 7 straight years which is currently the longest active streak in the NFL. Given 7th seed in the playoffs, making playoffs no longer quite as impressive but Chiefs obviously haven't been beneficiary of 7th seed. [Reply]
It's not Mahomes fault that other people are already calling him the GOAT. He can't control that. I don't blame fans of other teams that get tired of hearing stuff like that. It really sucks for Pat to be under that much pressure at such a young age. [Reply]

Hence the second half collapse. In a way, he needed that. He'll be fine. [Reply]
People don’t like to hear it but, the “run around and make plays” thing has become a crutch too much. Stand in the pocket and play within the offense and use the other stuff when necessary. It can’t be the offense. [Reply]
