I'd like to think in a small way, it avenges the Tangerine Bowl loss of 2003 to Phyllis Rivers for the state of Kansas.

I went to that game and still remember Rivers taunting the KU fans a couple times and I was like dude, you're playing Kansas at football right now, get the fuck over yourself.
