Doubt he makes it past Monday, he might be walking home from Arrowhead!
Chiefs dont need anything from the Donks for 3-4 years. They are in full-on implosion mode...and have no QB to groom. They are trying to trade Thomas...Keesum is getting booed...Miller costs them $25 million each of the next 2 years...Roby is on the last year of his rookie contract.
In seriousness, do you think if they get blown out VJ gets fired or does Failway give him a little more leash?
Regardless of when (not if) VJ is fired, the Broncos' ownership trust should "allow" John Elway to step aside gracefully as soon as the gun sounds ending the Broncos' 2018 season.
Elway should use the time between now and then to find a family that he can spend more time with. [Reply]

There had to be "tell-tale" signs that Kelly was unstable over the past 1 1/2 years....you dont do what he just did out of nowhere. That falls at the feet of Horseface...he put all his chips in on Kelly. He had the chance to draft Rosen... and develop him for a year.
I'm sure Donk fans think Rosen is a bust...but the Cards were terrible with Bradford. He's in the worst situation possible for a rookie...not that VJ is much of a QB guru. [Reply]
So their backup is former Chief backup QB Kevin Hogan and their looking to bring in Chiefs training camp QB Matt McGloin? Guys not even good enough to make the Chiefs roster are the backup plan to their starter that is nothing more than a backup quality QB himself? Man, it must suck to be a Donks fan these days. [Reply]

Why would he do that when he could just show Pat Bowlen a replay of the Super Bowl from years ago, say it's a live event that they just won, and get another extension? [Reply]

That whole organization is in turmoil...they have no functioning ownership. Who is going to vet a new GM at this point...Bowlen's daughter?? [Reply]

No idea. Mike Shanahan and Gary Kubiak at the core of a search panel? Really no idea, but IMHO it has to happen. [Reply]

Works for Kranz. He still wears his SB 50 shirt. Just ask him. [Reply]
