I honestly think too much is made of this one - Kelly beat out Lynch which just shows how terrible he was, but there was no real investment in him. They reached with the last pick of the 7th round, if you can call that a reach.
And, he failed... I'm on record as well as never believing he was worth the time and energy.
This will live on in message board infamy for a while, but in the grand scheme of things... it's not much of anything really. Sure, puts them in a pinch if Case gets hurt, but they'll find a guy and let him do whatever he does.
Trust me...I want Horseface as the Donks GM until his liver gives out. If KC wins on Sunday...it's be 7 in a row, spanning 4 seasons. That's getting close to all-time futility..
My prediction was based on if Horseface wants to face the continuous wrath/scrutiny from a city where he is idolized. ..his legacy will take a huge hit.
What does he need to do make the Donks competitive with Mahomes in the division? He needs to land a top-tier franchise QB and hire a completely new coaching staff. There is no evidence that he's capable of either...he should walk away while SB50 still has some value.
Right now, he's at a place where he could step-down and say "I think the Donkos deserve better..." and the fans would eat it up and thank him for the Manning years. They look 3-4 years away from being anything better than an 8-8 team....and that's if everything breaks right. [Reply]
I had to go check out the Mane...to see how Donko fans are handling it. :-)
They are bending themselves into human pretzels trying to defend $wag....do they not realize this is a pattern of behavior that will just get worse if he ever becomes a starting NFL QB? Having a blackout substance abuser as the face of your franchise inst a very smart play...even if you are desperate at QB. He had every resource available to prevent this from ever happening..
The guy was just a few games away from being a starting QB...and this is how seriously he takes the opportunity?
They took a risk...and got what everyone outside of Denver already knew. [Reply]

They act like if they cut him they lose out on the next Mahomes.

The entire thing is a joke.
A joke that Horseface created by repeated failure at finding a QB 3 times...this is what they've been reduced to. :-) Pinning their football hopes on a 7th round pick that calls himself "$wag". [Reply]

TO CLARIFY: Denver #Broncos QB Chad Kelly was not tested for drugs or alcohol as part of the criminal case he's facing, #9WantsToKnow has learned. The entry on booking records suggesting he had no alcohol in his system is a default entry. #9NEWS [Reply]
If Kelly was "mumbling and incoherent" as the police reports and witnesses says, and there is no alcohol in his system, then something else has to trigger it.
He "allegedly" has used something to make him do that.
Here's one evidence of that he may had used drugs.

Not even trolling, too many good Bronco guys here... but wow, just wow
Your #2 QB and absolute fan feverdream hunk, just broke into some random peoples home likely higher than a kite, on the hunt for some kind of...gibberish?
Then it turns out Von Miller hosted a cocaine themed halloween party the night before... not sure if I should use
All I know is these dickweed sports talk guys I listen to better be all over this tomorrow... Patrick briefly mentioned it today and they moved right on past it
