I am wanting to make my 2013 Charger RT a little more, how do I say this, angry?
I guess what I'm trying to say is, how can I get a little more deep rumbling sound, yet not excessive loud? Everything on the car I have is originally factory, so other than tinting the windows, there has been no modifications done.
Does it need a cold air intake and/or a improved muffler/exhaust system?

Unless you also want Turbo whine, the sound is going to come exclusively from your exhaust components and configuration. [that's why it's known as exhaust note]
CAI won't affect exhaust note. Some report a slight uptick in engine bay airflow noise, but that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.
The google term you're looking for is 'catback' which denotes the exhaust components from your catalytic converter [which must remain by law] to the back of your vehicle [pipes, mufflers and tips]. Use that with your make and model and you should get some youtube hits to listen to.

Look for an axleback exhaust. Catback will be louder and have better flow, but an axleback is better if you are just looking for a little more rumble. If you want a tiny bit of performance benefits, and dont mind it being loud go with a full cat back.

I have seen it done where a drive tire was put backwards on an ag vehicle with the idea that you get stuck a little quicker but you have enough more traction in reverse to back out. Can't say I ever saw proof that it worked either way but there was a "method to his madness" [Reply]

I drove a Monte Carlo SS for 10 years, so I considered the SS... it's just a weird price point for Chevy. The Monte was under $30k, as is a Camaro of course.... and I personally didn't want the 2 extra doors.

Nice... well, in that case it would probably be naturally aspirated vs a 4 cylinder turbo. I test drove a 328i and the turbo lag was too much... floor the gas at 50mph, take a drink, wait for shit to kick in. [Reply]
Yeah we need the extra doors, and I'm a v8 guy lol. I think I can buy the exact car I pictured for 38,900. Seems they have been dealing on then since they were discontinued. Last one was made last month. [Reply]

I have an inline 6, which gets about 28mpg on the highway and can still kick your ass. :-)
I do miss the rumble of a v8 though.
Looks like a good deal... there's something nice about driving an unassuming car with 450hp under the hood. [Reply]
