Your guess is as good as mine. Denver had a good O draft this year for skill players, Jewell is spot playing at LB while playing most of the ST snaps. Lack of a true owner is a problem. The "Bowlen Trust" headed by Joe Ellis, President & CEO, IMO let Elway bully them into giving him a five year contract as the highest paid GM in the NFL.
Elway's title is President of Football Operations/General Manager. Bowlen as owner would not have given Elway a 5 yr contract, no way. Three years max.
