I dunno. He scrambled 500 yards in the Super Bowl right before having surgery on that toe. The guy is pretty good at playing through pain. A lot of people don�t realize his throwing shoulder was messed up when he had the 800 yard game against Oklahoma/Mayfield.

Why don't the refs coddle Mahomes like they do other elite QBs? He's very popular, been to last 2 Super Bowls, Won a SB, Super Bowl MVP, Regular Season MVP, OPOY 2018, Totally dominant for a few years etc.

How much more do they need to prove his value to the league.
