CJ Stroud and the Texans line are having the exact issues our offense is having, but arguably even worse. [Reply]
Too much at stake to rest him. Despite recent success, winning a super bowl is hard and requires a few breaks. You aim for the 1 seed these next two games.
Worse case, you don't get it and mahomes gets hurt. Best case you skip a game AND get lowest seeded team in the divisional round. That's a pretty big deal too.
This whole team needs a break, not just mahomes. Only the one seed provides that. It's worth the risk. [Reply]
Rest him for next two games, Wentz should go 1-1 in his two starts (Texans can be beaten w/ backup QB at home in Arrowhead & Wentz is a bit better than a normal backup QB), bring Mahomes back for last game if necessary to clinch 1 seed [Reply]

That is all.
GO CHIEFS
Yeah, FB is entertaining, but facts aren't part of the itinerary for sure.
In fact, I see more bullshit, and much of it about the Chiefs posted on their than in the romper room. Some really horrible takes, some would even sit Mahomes for having a bad year at 13-1! [Reply]

I am all for it, give him a break. This team has played one hell of a lot of football games the last five years. [Reply]

Bit late for that, time to protect Pat by running the ball a considerable amount more was 4 games ago. [Reply]
He walked off on his own power and wanted to come back in the game. The #1 seed is right there for us, this is where you separate yourself from the rest. These type of situations make you great. You play through injury for your teammates, trying to get the #1 seed so everyone gets a rest day.
Texans have the worst run defense, just design run plays, quick slants and screens. He’s needs to be on the field if he says he can go. [Reply]

Because it's not just his ankle that's messed up. He's mentally fried and not seeing the field when he does get good protection. If he can't move and can't see the field then maybe a week break would do him some good. [Reply]

Who said he’s mentally fried or is that your assumption? Again, you don’t sit players bc they’re fried lol. It’s call being resilient.
Mahomes isn’t Anthony Richardson, you play him if he says he’s ready to go. It’s that simple.
He needs as many reps with the offense as possible, resting him only takes it away. How do you expect this offense to get into sync? [Reply]

I doubt it. But if they win the next 2 games they clinch the 1 seed and get 3.5 weeks off to work on fixing the offense before their divisional game which sounds better [Reply]
