Beinemy has interviewed for a ton of positions while in KC and hasn't gotten a single head coaching offer. At this point, any rational human being can see that the issue is with Beinemy.
The Chiefs can cut ties with him at any point and not be the bad guys. [Reply]

Agreed. All the racism talk is total BS. They really need to let him walk. [Reply]
This could all be very well true, and I love Mahomes, but the last 2 plays in regulation before the FG were good calls and guys were open and Patrick didn't pull the trigger... It is still hard for me to believe and I think it will drive him to be even better. [Reply]

Also maybe Reid told his they would share playcalling and he wanted to call plays and be a head coach in 2 years? Who knows? [Reply]

I think Reid relinquished half his play calling duties so he could focus his time on his true passion: NBC Sports broadcast production. [Reply]
"The first play failed. Bieniemy then told Mahomes he had one timeout left, and to run play X, or take a field goal.
The narrative that Bieniemy only wanted a field goal is 100 percent false. Bieniemy called the play that resulted in a doomed pass to Hill, not Reid.
Mahomes then tried to call timeout, and the clock expired."
The article tries to paint a picture that Bieneiemy messed up with a "doomed pass to Hill", but here is what Mahomes said:
“We called a play that, we were trying to get someone over the middle quick,” Mahomes said. “And then I was supposed to throw the ball away. I got a little greedy there and tried to get it to Tyreek to get a touchdown.”
That was similar to what Reid said during halftime before he did the politically correct approach after the game. [Reply]
