Everyone else gets an official thread, so I want one too.
I've seen several people make mentions of F1 on here. So, I'm giving us a thread. No more Speed bs coverage. NBC looks like they are taking it serious and will have some good coverage.
With DVRs now, it's no longer a pain in the ass to watch the races. So watch them and discuss
And if you don't watch F1. You suck. Best racing on the planet.

The state of the drivers after the race yesterday was shocking. Poor Logan Sargeant had to pull into the garage mid race and then could barely stand to get out of the car. Then after the race Albon and Stroll had the same level of exhaustion. Stroll said that the heat and the blood pressure dropping around high speed corner was causing their vision to go blurry and made then feel like they were passing out. [Reply]

Yeah, one of the drivers noted that the tire limits actually made it far worse because they didn't have to worry about tire degradation so each lap was essentially treated like a qualifying lap.
So they were just pulling heavy G-loads at damn near every turn. Combined with creeping dehydration and yeah, the drivers were just wrecked at the end. Even the guys on the podium were subdued.
Seems to have taken it out of all of them, even the guys in the best shape. Ocon and Leclerc are usually fresh as a daisy after a race and those guys looked wrecked.
When guys are saying "Yeah, that one made Singapore feel easy" then you know you may have asked a bit too much and were lucky to get out of there with as little carnage as you did. [Reply]
Probably going to be tough but I would love to see the McLarens challenge Red Bull next year. Only intrigue left this year is what this Vegas race is going to look like. [Reply]
Anyone watching Formula 1 from Vegas tonight? First F1 race in Las Vegas, for several decades, through the streets of the city no less. Cool to have midnight start time (CST). [Reply]
