For a guy playing 30 mins a game these are terrible numbers.
Yeah, he's been bad shooting wise. Effort hasn't been there in 100% of the games either. KJ is the bigger problem with this offense so he gets the bulk of my attention but he's a major one too. [Reply]

You realize that Bill Self built this team around Hunter Dickinson the last two years, right? And that he recruited him harder than any recruit in years? So yeah...to say that Dickinson doesn't make teams better, and causes them to underperform, is equivalent to calling Bill Self a clueless moron.
Btw, can you point me in the direction of the people who have stated this?>>
Nah, like I said in another post, maybe Dickinson actually gave a shit that one year at Michigan or just looked better because he had a couple NBA picks around him... and it's logical of Self to think 1) Dickinson would give a shit at Kansas and not just be here for a payday, and 2) he'd put as good of or better talent around him than at Michigan.
I don't call anyone a clueless moron for missing on talent evaluation, even at the same level of competition... there are just too many variables team to team and the transfer portal fucks up a lot of team chemistry and so forth, especially now with paying players.
And you haven't seen the multitude of posts saying the Chiefs should now go all in, trade draft capital, spend money they don't have on unknown players, etc; make the offense explosive at all costs? That shit's been everywhere this week, are you as blind as KCC? :-) [Reply]

Or he’s still basically the same player (although the numbers would suggest he’s gotten better) but was instead playing with talented offensive players who spaced the floor and complemented his game rather than KJ Adams so his team did better.

No, I haven't seen a single post stating that the Chiefs should change everything they do.
I think Self knew exactly what he was getting on the "Give a shit" meter, and also knew he was recruiting a controversial player who's widely disliked. Yet he still went all out to land him, and continues to run the offense through him.
Maybe he's blind? He should probably hire you guys to his staff to keep him from making such foolish decisions. [Reply]
