He has been paid a lot less money the last 3 years than worthless Frank Clark. Mahomes only got a $10M signing bonus and his contract is extremely backloaded. Compare this to guys like Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson or Aaron Rodgers getting paid $80M in the first year of their contract with massive signing bonus. If Mahomes did not have a new contract, you would still owe him $25M this year under the franchise tag. [Reply]
The only thing I can say about Mahomes after that game was that the pass to Kemp did not need to be a no look. Yes, Kemp should have caught it but it would have been more accurate if Mahomes had just looked at him while throwing the ball. [Reply]

I agree but I also think he was doing it in that case to make sure that throwing lane stayed open. There was enough room where he probably didn't need to do that. [Reply]

I actually didn't mind the arm punt in yesterday's game but the one in Baltimore and the inaccurate no look were just terrible. Those two were probably a couple of his top 5 (bottom 5..?) worst plays as a pro. [Reply]
