The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.

KC played a lot of dime to deal with Trubisky's legs, and the read options they use

CHI tried running at it, but KC held them to 66 yards on 15 carries (4.4 YPC)

Spags ran this front a lot against BAL in week 3. We’re much better at setting edge with Reggie and Harris this time. Keep an eye out on this trend https://t.co/c0n1PBflFT

Spags sent A LOT at Trubisky in coverage this week, but one of his favorite cover shells was calling this Tampa 2 type coverage

Putting guys near the LoS forces the QB to switch to a different protection call, putting more guys in, and the Tampa 2 keeps everything deep contained pic.twitter.com/wEzORp7vNN
It wasn't just coverages, also the blitzes as well

Kendall Fuller played a really good game on Sunday on some rewatches

He was around the ball a lot, looked explosive downhill, and was communicating the coverage calls well. He wasn't asked to cover as a CB much, but as a S, he's found a nice role
Kendall Fuller played his best game he had played all season, mainly at deep safety

Does a nice job against this Mesh route over the middle, screaming down alley for a tackle
Fuller brings more range than Sorenson, quick change of ability speed. He's found a home at safety pic.twitter.com/bfOj1m5CNM
