I'll throw this out there... I didn't see Denver beating NE this week with 8--3 Manning, so with Brock in there ... Denver likely loses this one, but I don't think he will get throttled in the game. I think he'll have a decent game. If Denver's defense does what they're built to do, they'll give Denver a chance to win.
I'm not holding my breath though, likely 8-3 when it's over and that's ok.
I do like the fact that Brock is starting again. [Reply]
He made use of the short passing game. The TD pass to Latimer was impressive, but other than that he was on cruise control. Like I said, he got a lot of help from his rushing attack and defense. [Reply]

They count, but they're ones any qb can should make. Don't go all fanboi here, he basically was asked to not make mistakes and stay out of the way. He did that, very well.
I stated that I don't think he'll be able to do that and win games against upper echelon teams [Reply]
The Patriots aren't unbeatable, they were a much better team last year. If Denver can take away Gronk, and win the time of possession we'll win. We can slow down Brady, but we can't afford to have a bunch of three and outs and expect our defense to carry us. The offense has to carry their weight. [Reply]

Not going all fan boy, just didn't realize how you counted good throws. I've already stated a few times that it was a good first start... nothing more, nothing less and that I'm fully expecting a loss this week. I'm tempering my enthusiasm quite a bit and expecting a 3-3 finish as a worse case in the final 6. [Reply]
I don't expect the Broncos to win against the Pats, heck, the refs will insure that this does not happen. I expect the Broncos to get at least twice as many penalties as NE. I'm just hoping the Broncos are a tough and physical football team that makes it very, very hard for NE to win. [Reply]
