Mahomes was great against the Panthers but it doesn't serve their bullshit narrative [Reply]
Jackson Powers-Johnson screaming his head off after the illegal shift call was pretty hilarious.
Dude, you're the one who fucked up. You don't see defenders demanding they change PI calls to offsides, do you? Why would this be any different? [Reply]

He snapped the ball, but they were using a silent count. QB was clapping because the clock was at 4, RG touched the center while the QB stopped looking because the receivers werent set yet, and the center snapped the ball. He was never looking at the QB during the entire process. It wasnt just him that fucked it up. [Reply]

Yeah, he was good that game. That comment was just built up frustration from playing tight games with scrub teams. We’ve required two miraculous wins to beat shitty divisional opponents within the last month. I don’t like that shit.

I’ve spent all season long defending Mahomie. He’s been pretty bad by his own standards but he’s still typically good for one or two “I’m Mahomes, **** you” plays each game that let me argue that he’s still pretty good.
After losing to Josh Allen, going to OT with the Panthers, and requiring two miracles to beat the Broncos and Raiders this past month, I am not giving him as much benefit of the doubt. The OL is bad. I get it. He has also been pretty bad far too often.
Shouldn't try sneaking that in your trash Mahomes post then if you don't want to get called on it [Reply]

Agree, it's not fun to watch. But here's a potential silver lining. These type of close games help prepare the team for close games in the Playoffs. Some of the other top level teams might have a harder time when the opponent punches back. I'm looking straight at the "unbeatable" Baltimore Ravens in 2019 and 2023 as evidence of this. [Reply]

I am actually feeling good about our odds come playoff time, but you hit the nail on the head. This team is just not fun to watch right now. I mean, it’s fun in a “how the hell did we pull that off” kind of way. I just miss winning convincingly a good amount of the time.
I was looking back on previous years and, yeah, on average it seems like we play about 8-10 one score games every season under Mahomes. We’re 12 games into this season and have already played in 11 of them. Unless we blow our opponents out until the end of the season, this team is cutting it wayyyyy closer than any from previous years.
EDIT: Fuzzy math. We beat the Saints and 49ers by two scores so only nine one-score games. [Reply]
:-) Pretty fucking funny watching 31 other fantasies lose their shit waiting for the Chiefs to regress. This probably IS the regression. They've finally hit critical mass at both the LT and CB spots and we're about to be bolstered by reinforcements at both LT and WR. Hopefully Mahomes can finally unfuck himself a bit and they can figure out a defensive backfield that has McDuffie in the slot and CB play on the boundaries that's at least not totally AIDS level. Or Jaylen Watson comes back. [Reply]
