Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Losing to every garbage team from NY three consecutive weeks had me beyond bewildered. Andy just couldn't bench Alex. His heart wouldn't let him. Promise is a promise I guess. [Reply]

That’s probably my favorite non playoff chiefs game.

The Buffalo game was at home and we went the entire first half without a first down. Never seen anything like it.
Incidentally I wore a Mahomes shirt for the first time to the last of those 3 games against the Jets so I was doing my part to affect change.
There is no doubt we advance farther if the switch had been made. [Reply]

I've told this story several times on here before: I was at that game, and afterwards, any time you passed a Chiefs fan, there was a head nod, a fist pump, etc. knowing that we just witnessed a profound shift in the NFL hierarchy.
It was so freaking awesome to walk out of that stadium that day knowing that we were going to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.... [Reply]

And his coach has to have a significant off the field issue.
Don't forget home field in the Super Bowl where the visiting team has to fly in the night before because of a world-wide pandemic, while said "home" team gets to sleep in their own beds for two weeks.... [Reply]

Man, I was out back at my bar watching the game alone. I knew the balance of power had shifted and I was as giddy as a schoolgirl. I was yelling “there’s a new f’ing Sheriff in town!” to the Steelers on my Tv right as my neighbor walked around the back corner. As first I was embarrassed, but then I realized how funny that had to be for him to walk out and see my dumbass yelling at the tv. Good times!
