Maybe it sounds like a copout, but at this point we just have to trust that Veach/Reid/Heck have correctly decided that Smith offers no appreciable upgrade to Morris
Rightly or wrongly we're rolling with who we have in 2024, if Morris gets hurt again maybe we look at Driskell or maybe even put Thuney out there... the one thing I'm sure of is that Veach will swing for the fences this offseason, he will either buy or trade for the most proven vet available
The time for half measures is over, and I fully trust that Veach knows that [Reply]

When the NFL switched to a single bye week to add a 7th spot...it completely changed the dynamic of how it has to operate.
They cant have a team running away with HFA this early since every division winner already gets a home game. The only drama left would be which 2-3 undeserving team gets the 7th seed.
There was no way KC was going to win this game...it would have put them up essentially 4 games on the 2nd seed...with 7 weeks left. They cant have fans checking out at this point in the season. They make their billions off advertising and ratings...is what it is.
I'm convinced KC was supposed to lose last week...hence Mahomes airmailing a wide open TD to Kelce in the stands. [Reply]
