Or maybe Aidan O’Connell who just outplayed Mahomie..?
Honestly, we could get about 20 QBs league wide to help Pat on his deep ball.
Generally I agree but in this situation I liked it. We were averaging less than 2 YPC all game outside of one big Pacheco run. We weren’t getting 2+ yards on a run there and I think running there only would have taken like an extra 5-10 seconds off the clock.
I like putting the ball in your HoF QBs’ hands there. Especially when he’s got the fastest WR in the league in single coverage with some bum ass 2-9 CB2.
That should have been a fairly easy conversion.
Are you sure? We had just gained 8 yards on the first two downs by rushing. Our power backs can get two yards in two plays. [Reply]

Or we can just run a play that actually makes sense in the context of the game and our QB instead of a playcall involving the deep ball that he hasn’t hit in a month

No clue although if it was last January/February when he had one of the greatest postseason runs a QB has ever had (i.e. the last meaningful games this franchise played) it wouldn’t bother me at all [Reply]

Nagy isn't the reason he can't hit the broad side of a ****ing barn more than 20 yards down the field.
I haven't said anything about Nagy or Alex. My biggest problem with playcalling is Andy's tendency to do those stupid gadget/trick plays that go nowhere. I'm in favor of Mahomes going for higher percentage short throws. Better than when he makes a dumb throw into double or triple coverage downfield. [Reply]

Bowers would be nice but we’d still need a QB who can throw when it truly matters
Mahomes hasn’t done enough to prove that he’s that guy yet [Reply]
Acting like we'll be fine because we're beating middle-of-the-road teams by a score in November is one thing, but saying we're fine because we're flat-out struggling to win against the very bottom of the barrel is another. This team is far from "fine." They'd be getting their asses handed to them by playoff-caliber teams right now. We should be beating teams like Carolina and Las Vegas by 20 or 30 points. Our tackles are playing like shit, our beloved QB is playing like shit, and our defense is playing like shit all around. There's alot to fix between now and January. [Reply]

They’re fine
They were literally losing all these games this time last year [Reply]

Well he missed a 5 yard slant that should've been as easy a TD as exists a drive prior.
There's not a throw in the world he's capable of hitting with any consistency right now. Not a single one.
The play call wasn't the problem. He had a good look and a throw he should hit. And he didn't. Again. If you think playing the slice of your most important player is going to get you anywhere, I just don't know what to tell you. [Reply]

I mean, they just played on the road against Buffalo and it was a pretty competitive game. Buffalo got some major referee help on a couple drives in the 2nd half or it might have looked different in the end. The Chiefs seem to play close games no matter who is the opponent, good or bad. [Reply]
