It's August and the coaches poll just dropped. Time to focus on Week 0 coming up and get ready for the first ever 12 team playoff.

Feel free to comment on general games, programs, whatever in here as we get ready for the best part of the year!!!

Alabama beating Georgia… at home, in September, in a game where they blew a big lead… is their entire CFP resume.

That’s it.

SMU has 2 losses. Both to top 20 teams by a fg in last 2 minutes. Alabama has 3, two of them to .500 teams.

Kickers being so good has changed the game a ton.

Best teams should get spots. Unless you go undefeated in the Big 12 or ACC you don't deserve to compete for a championship. SMU couldn't even beat BYU. They are a joke just like the ACC.

SMU would go 3-9 in the Big 10.

They beat three top 25 teams. How many did Miami beat?

The playoff picture is now simple.

SMU has earned the final at-large spot.

If Alabama jumps them, it’s the most corrupt moment in a sport with a long history of corruption. Buckle up.

Get ready for some corruption then because that's all college football is

And one of those losses was getting curb stomped by a 6-6 Oklahoma team.

Alabama was completely non competitive that game.

And that was two weeks ago… not two months ago.

What's the difference between SMU and Indiana? Indiana got destroyed against the only good team they played all year; their entire schedule other than that was awful.

Tons of reasons.

Couldn't go undefeated in the ACC.

Automatically disqualifies you.

Lost to BYU.

Would get blown out by Vanderbilt.

You could see this coming a mile away but this next week will be real nasty. They're gonna ride the line of creating a scenario where teams won't want to play conference title games. You lose at at the buzzer on a 56 yard FG and you get punished for it, that's pretty brutal.

Blew absolutely everyone they played out, except Michigan. Only loss Ohio State. Do you think SMU would beat Indiana? Indiana would win 31 to 13.

South Carolina wasn’t ranked when Alabama beat them… by 2 points.

LSU dropped out of the Top 25… after losing to Florida… a team that Miami curb stomped at the Swamp.

Alabama’s resume is a September win vs Georgia and Missouri (LOL).

And apparently their terrible losses are ignored?

Michigan sucked this year and Indiana beat them by 5, yeah I'd expect a close game.
