Her layup package kinda reminds me of mine. A bunch of bricks off the rim while standing directly under it.
As a side note, I completely forgot about Clark until this thread.
Makes me wonder about her staying power. Feels like the WNBA is doing more to resist her than to capatilze on her fame. Lets see how that works for them. [Reply]

This whole debate is the dumbest shit ever. Caitlin clark is a rookie steph curry who makes mistakes doing difficult shit at a high usage position and angel reese is Andre Drummond who does one specific thing very well but is a liability as a scorer. Angel is a good player for that role but this shit is an absolute joke by media members who have a toxic agenda. I've said it before, the wnba is the toxic dump for all the media activists who got booted from other sports because everyone was sick of them. These are people who were too activist even for espn [Reply]

Instead of embracing her as a star and admitting that some little white girl from Iowa might actually be the savior of their league, they're doing their best to downplay her.

Lets see how that works out for them.
Man I hope Reese gets the ROY award to just take the mask all the way off. [Reply]
Watching that layup video of Reese and the only conclusion I can make is that she has always just been the biggest at every level and has not had to learn any actual basketball skills as a result. We all knew these types of kids growing up and they can sometimes make it to college but by then they typically get filtered out and exposed. It’s just that in women’s basketball there’s simply not enough talent and size to make that happen to Reese. [Reply]
The highlights from the recent games make it clear they never should have let her have that time off to rest. She's making the old heads look ancient. Their pick and roll game had Cunningham looking special ed and her constantly shoving the ball down the court for two step scores is changing the whole game. [Reply]

I mean, that's exactly what many thought would happen. The time off was perfect to avoid any sort of "wall" and to let her body rest/heal. Clark is going to go on a tear and leave little doubt about ROTY. [Reply]

To her credit she is a hell of a physical player. She is definitely an elite rebounder and she's good on defense. But she plays bully ball and she should have used the break to learn post moves. So for now she is Andre Drummond except she's a pretty good free throw shooter. A lot of people want to say shes trash and she's not. Lots of teams would love a Clint capella, it's just a very different thing than having steph curry [Reply]

There is not one player in the NBA...maybe not even in D1 basketball that is a big and shoots below 40% from 2. Its so bad I cant even believe it.
Caitlyn Clark shoots 55% from 2....and shes a GUARD who shoots alot of shots from further out. Angel is missing point blank shots over...and over again. I don't even know why a coach lets her play shes so bad offensively. Maybe that is a disconnect between NBA stats and WNBA stats (bigs and players in the WNBA may shoot lower percentage from two because they arent as athletic as NBA players) but it is god awful. I mean, trying to claim angel reese is anywhere near Clark’s league is just laughable. Her offense game is hilariously bad. However without a doubt she’s an exceptional rebounder and excellent on defense. She’s Andre Drummond except she can shoot free throws and has defensive range. She’s absolutely an impact player and deserves the minutes [Reply]
