What a great win and great season for the program. I wouldn’t have given a nickel for this team after that Middle Tennessee game. Kudos to Drink, the rest of the coaches, and the players for the dramatic turnaround. The future for the Mizzou football program is very bright! [Reply]
This was far from a perfect team and far from a perfect coaching job, but they're human. No one is perfect. We'll look back on this as a special season, because the whole was greater than the sum of the parts. That was a true team, and they got every ounce out of that season that they could have. [Reply]

Yep. Far cry from the stadium booing them at the start of KSU. Onwards and upwards. [Reply]

Coaches, AP polls are just done by people. Usually the well know person voting just has some minion do it, too. Sagarin has a scientific method void of bias, like Kenpom in NCAA Basketball and thus cannot be disputed.
- I think this season was the first where Drink didn't call the plays, and had the OC do the job instead. That doesn't seem like a lot but some coaches just can't get out of their own way and delegate and it ends up crippling the team. Realizing this and then delegating shows huge growth as a coach IMO
- when drink called everyone out for booing the QB, seemed like after that Cook started balling
- Schraders story should be a Disney movie at some point, that guy was absolutely amazing.
- Recuiting seems to be steadily winning which should make for an interesting 2024
- Bringing home a big ass trophy (like the cotton bowl trophy) is a huge win for the program [Reply]

Because they looked like absolute shit against the cupcake they played the week prior, and Cook in particular had shown next to nothing in the way of development yet. [Reply]

This is what greatness looks like.
Looks like some morbidly obese fat fuck that never finished higher than 3rd place. If that’s your idea of greatness, you need to get out more. [Reply]

My bad. Not even sure why I give a shit, except to make him look like a fool. He does a pretty good job of that by himself. I guess that’s what an Iowa education gets you. [Reply]
