I'm just enjoying watching the Donko homers squirm...Sunday was the first glimpse/ affirmation that KC might have just landed the next generational QB.
Rodgers/Favre/Manning/Brady types are probably the hardest thing to find in all of sports.
All Sunday did was reinforce what I saw during preseason last year...this kid has "IT"...and its rare. It's still early but he's done nothing to change my mind.
Frankly, I'm still kind of in shock. I did not expect him to look this good this fast... [Reply]

What exactly did Mahomes do? He wasn't bad, but just looking at the box score I thought there'd be more. :-)
Hey, neat! I also like to analyze box scores of NFL games! That's cool!
As a matter of fact, I was just analyzing some QB stats from Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season, and I found something pretty interesting. Check it out!

LOL but all I heard this off-season was how Mahomes will throw a ton of INTs. Only one game, but I wasn’t worried about picks with him. His ball security is better than any young QB from his class and this year’s. [Reply]

Keenum threw a checkdown at the LOS for 7, 15 yard slant for Sanders to run for a long TD, a 4 yard TD and threw 3 INT’s.

What is supposed to impress us here?
Keenum will do well against us because our defense isn’t great. I will say, it’s going to be better than most think. It was hot as hell in LA for that game, KC scored quick at times putting them right back on the field. Similar to 2003. So, as the defense plays together and gains chemistry and Eric Berry, it’ll be ok. Average I’d say. Once Nnadi turns it on in the middle, they’ll be good against the run. KC let Gordon have his at times because they focused on the pass. Hitchens was flying all over the field. [Reply]
It's even FUNNIER that Horseface made that play for Alex Smith and got turned down this offseason. He was clearly thinking, "Our offense's whole problem is INTs and turnovers. Obviously. We've got to change that. If I can't have Alex, I'll go out and get the next best thing!"
In other words, Case Keenum. He was brought in to do what Alex Smith did for us all these years. That was Horseface's strategy.
Well, can we say it didn't work? Because it took just ONE FUCKING GAME for Keenum to have a 3-INT game. Alex in his time with the Chiefs NEVER had a 3-pick game. [Reply]

I dunno, I guess my expectations were too high after hearing you guys talk up Mahomes' performance.
Paxton Lynch has only thrown 4 touchdowns in his NFL career, lmao! Dungver hasn’t beaten KC in years, lmao over 1000 days. Paxton Lynch couldn’t keep a job on a team desperate for even mediocre qb play, lmao! You’re really bad at this Jack [Reply]

I think too much is being made of one game... I wouldn't suggest that they should have lost it. I believe too much is being made over two calls, one of which was 100% challengable by SEA, they just waited too long. Denver's defense man handled SEA, save for 3-4 plays. The Defense made up for whatever inadequacies the offense had and SEA couldn't take advantage.
It's one week. I'm not getting too excited about the upside and you guys shouldn't be overly concerned, which I believe most are not.
If Denver is truly a sh*tty team, that will come out in the finish. Too many get excited about the first few games as if it somehow increases a bad team's ability to play better on the road in future weeks.
For those that want to complain (still) about the Royce Freeman fumble/non-fumble... if it was so obvious, why did Caroll wait to throw the flag? I mean, if viewers at home were 100% sure of it - why did his team watching up in the booth hesitate? I saw it live and didn't believe it was clear. [Reply]
