In another genius move by the WNBA, they are giving their whole league a month off since a handful of players go to the Olympics. Caitlin Clark won’t play in a game that matters again until 8/16. By then the NFL preseason will be in full throat and baseball playoff races will be heating up. I’ll be interested to see how much hype the league and CC are able to recapture then. [Reply]

That’s why some have questioned dawn staleys motives when she said angel is Roty. She’s part of the selection committee. It’s been more than speculated that someone commented about the “negative attention” she’d bring with CC supporters griping about her playing time.
