He sailed a pass 10 feet over Worthy’s head on our second drive today and he didn’t have a defender within 5 yards of him. I think we ended up punting on that drive. Missed out on points.
He missed a wide open DHop in the back of the end zone with no pressure. 4 point differential there.
Then he missed a wide open Worthy to end/ice the game. He was under pressure there but that’s to be expected on ‘3rd and the ball game’. Worthy was wide open because they brought pressure. If Mahomes wasn’t expecting that there then he’s losing his feel for the game.
That was a dumb playcall in hindsight. A 2 yard gain is the same thing as a 50 yard gain in that situation. Either way, the game is over. You don't need a bomb there. [Reply]
