Looks like you missed one, here are those Xs and Os you wanted to talk about...

The Eagles also had a pretty good trio of CB in the last matchup, and KC had less at receiver (by a fair bit).
The second level of the Eagles defense can still be picked on. Your LB aren’t good in coverage, especially Baun.
I respect the Eagles front, and Gardner-Johnson is a good and physical safety.
I don’t think people understand how much better this receiving corps is than what KC has had in the past, because KC just hasn’t had everyone available much.

We had Bradbury as the corner that got called
For the interference. We had no lbs on that team. We are missing a big one in Dean. Carter is lights out better than either Cox or what's his name that want to the niners (drawling a blank) on that team our starting end were better but Mitchell has been a shut down corner and Cooper changed the defense. Its a much better D. Kelce is key. Ertz ate us up last night. He worries me [Reply]

Mahomes played that Super Bowl on one leg… and still put a clown suit on the Eagles defense… with Vic Fangio as a “consultant”, by throwing to the likes of Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore. [Reply]

Bradberry/Slay/Maddox was a really good trio of corners. Maddox was viewed as a top slot corner that year. Slay and Bradberry were crafty, physical veterans who had both had great years.
Acting like the Eagles’ secondary was not good that year is revisionist.
And Brown, Worthy, Hopkins, Smith-Schuster is a much better WR group than the Eagles had to defend, too. I mean, Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney got snaps for that squad and fucking Valdes-Scantling was their #2 option.
Jalen Carter is different, yes, and he’s a good player. But this version of him and that version of Hargrove are a wash. The Eagles edge personnel is a step down.
Barkley is a personnel upgrade at RB, and his explosiveness is an X factor. I don’t think that OL is quite as good - missing a HoF player in the middle will do that - and Hurts hasn’t been as good since that game (where he was amazing).
I think it will be close and be a good game. But I don’t see Eagles fans getting revenge. [Reply]
Skip should have worn his Cowboys hat while giving that speech. Aside from Skip, it really does blow my mind how many people hate the Chiefs so thoroughly that they are willing to root for their division rivals to win championships if it means the Chiefs don't.
At no time during the Patriots dynasty would I have been rooting for the Broncos to beat them in an AFC Championship game. But all last week there were fans of non-Bills AFC East teams that were desperately hoping to see Buffalo win. We'll probably hear from more NFC East rivals rooting for the Eagles as well. Just doesn't compute for me. [Reply]
Mailata struggled with Jared Verse's power in the divisional.
Look for Chris Jones to work the tackles throughout this game every chance he gets. He is the one kind of player who is like a trump card to those two All-Pro players. [Reply]

I’m not sure if they’re better or worse but they are a little different and it’s mainly Barkley and Jalen Carter. Their pass rush isn’t as fierce as it was then but their secondary seems better, though their CBs are young. Obviously going from Miles Sanders or whoever to Barkley is a massive jump.
Their interior pass rush concerns me the most with our relatively vulnerable guards and they’ve got great speed coming off the edge. That could be an issue, but I trust Reid and Mahomes to have something special to put inexperienced guys like Baun, Mitchell and Dejean in the blender.
On the other hand, I actually think we’re better than we were then.
Hunt>Pacheco
Worthy, Hollywood and Juju>Juju, MVS, and Toney
OL, pass rush and LBs are about the same, I reckon. If anything I’d give the 2024 squads the edge because they’re mostly the same guys with more experience now.
Kelce was better back then, for sure, and having Sneed, McDuffie and Watson is better than McDuffie, Watson, and Nazeeh/Conner.
2022 Mahomes was also better in general but playoff Mahomes is playoff Mahomes.
The key will be Hurts. We cannot allow him to have another career day. [Reply]
