Coming off an American League Divisional Series appearance, its year 3 of Matt Quatraro tenure. Can they take the next step to a division title? Can Bobby Witt, Jr. take his superstar status to another level? Can Cole Ragans develop more? Will the other starting pitching duplicate last season? The offense can it deliver more? Who will be in the outfield? How about the new stadium development?

That's because this is fantasy baseball and not real baseball. Platoon guys will never be ranked highly and fantasy considers defense irrelevant, and basically every outfielder we have is going to platoon in some capacity or Isabel is more valuable for his defense. The White Sox will probably play Benitendi every day he is healthy, so he's more valuable because counting stats matter more than anything else. Not that I'm saying our outfield is secretly
awesome or anything, just that these rankings have nothing to do with reality. [Reply]

Deserved RC+ in 2024 per Baseball Prospectus
MJ Melendez: 90 DRC+
Andrew Benintendi: 81 DRC+
If you were going to draft one of these guys even in fantasy, you'd take the 26-year-old anyways. [Reply]
I'm pretty certain O'Hearn would not be this high on the list had he remained a Royal. I hope MJ puts it together this year with the new swing, but I'm kind of anticipating Melendez follows a similar path. He eventually winds up on another team performing better, and yet we won't really miss him at the same time. [Reply]
