So... You believe he'd play if the division were on the line, which would be the difference between a home and away game on Wild Card weekend, but he shouldn't play to maintain the one seed and a bye and HFA?

The choice is obvious and I expect the Chiefs will reach the same conclusion.

Ideal scenario would've been to have everything wrapped up so that we could start Wentz during their "island" game

Andy doesn’t seem to deviate from his ways too often. And that’s normally for the best.

I would be shocked if Mahomes voluntarily sat this one out.

If Mahomes doesn’t play, I’ll trust it’s the right call. If he does, I’ll also trust that.
