People are upset. I'm starting to get a handle on the car love. The sinkhole that destroyed some old vettes for example. Most are never going to visit the vette museum. Not many were even aware of what was in the museum or that it even existed. But, once they heard, they were upset. Tbe car geeks feel they lost something tangible.
Even though they know that car was going to be destroyed at some point anyway by Dodge, to have it destroyed earlier than planned by some guy who doesn't really care about the car, roasts some car geeks tires the wrong way. To be honest, kind of irked me too.
Even if its not your car or you have never or will never own one, people feel protective of the classic old cars. And of the new specialized ones being built today. You have many comments in this thread alone to leave the mods off, don't fuck with my new car. Same on the car boards.
The education of myself continues to evolve my thinking. I will have to be really unhappy with the exhaust to mod the car that much. [Reply]
