This is a massive hole that is filled for the #chiefs. Trent McDuffie is considered by almost everyone as the 3rd best CB in this draft. The first two went off the board at 3 and 4.
The @Chiefs make a big move for a top CB (and my model's #8 overall prospect) in Trent McDuffie, who allowed 3.1 yards/target in 2021 at Washington (best in FBS, min. 30 targets).
Could be a key piece to counter the wealth of receiving talent in the AFC come playoff time!
Going to drop this nugget for you guys... Here's Lance Zeurlien's top 32 graded players headed into this thing from NFL.com... Take a gander at the bold ones.

Meh.
Hard to care about what a guy says when he has Malik Willis as the 19th best player in this draft. [Reply]

I'm sure he will. But i was chuckling to myself reading "Mel's best available" and it listed Willis as the best available player.
Nigga please....
I'm not sure Willis is even a top 50 player, let alone top 20. He's a shitty QB in a draft loaded with shitty QB's so he's being waaaaay overhyped. [Reply]

I very much thought Willis would be the first QB taken. I think he has an extremely high upside. I figured Seattle would see Wilson Part II and fall in love and just have to get him. I can definitely get teams wanting to wait though because none of the QBs were really "wow" guys. Willis is as close to that as I think there may be in this class but really raw and such a small school. If Strong didn't tear his knee up half a dozen times I think he "could" have been a top 10 type but he's too immobile now to take a chance like that on.
I'm kind of figuring Seattle is where Willis still ends up but it'll be at 40. The rest of the guys like Corral, Ridder, and Howell, to go with Willis all look like better shots than Kyle Trask who went at 64 last year so we might see an early run on them in the 2nd. That said, it's unlikely any of them work out as quality NFL starters. Willis and Ridder would definitely be my top two guesses though, if a team can be patient. [Reply]
