- Early career production - Dynamic threat downfield & after the catch - Elite speed & start-stop ability - Fluid mover w/ good route running chops - Ball tracking is A+
Not entirely sure why the vibe isn't higher when talking about him in the WR class. pic.twitter.com/dv3JjdyZgh
I'll write something fresh about Worthy tomorrow morning now that he's a Chief to lay out how he's more than speed, but for now here's an excerpt from article linked in the below tweet... https://t.co/EcW7QtUrFFpic.twitter.com/811ahCEfMS

Mahomes loves these types of WRs, and has excelled with these type of WRs going back to his college years. So, I'm excited for the possibilities of great things to come even tho I wanted more of a traditional X wr.
I'm confused I guess. Why would we line him up in the slot primarily? His highlight tapes suggest he lines up outside a lot. [Reply]

The Chiefs wanted him and Hollywood to take the top off and back the safeties off.
I am sure Nagy will dial up some silly gadget stuff near the LOS but that's not his value. [Reply]

I'm sure some of his reps will from the slot; we'll definitely see him run some jet sweeps, etc. But unless I'm missing something, he looks to be a boundary WR, not a slot guy. [Reply]

Remember it took Tyreek a full year.
Pretty much every draft site agrees that he is great at route running. I don't know enough to say if he is or not, so I'll go with people that probably do.

He should be the #2 vertical and stay there his entire time here. [Reply]
Xavier Worthy is more than just a fast guy. He is much more of a fluid route runner than he is given credit for and not just a one trick pony. Even still, Patrick Mahomes throwing to the man with the fastest 40 in NFL History will have people rushing home from Church to see it. pic.twitter.com/RkBuisEhI3
