I'm not sure there are 2 players on the market better than Bolton & Smith and you can do alot worse than Hollywood Brown as your #3 WR. I get it CP is impatient and wanted that shiny big name left tackle. That was never going to happen.
All that's left to do is get some bargain bin free agents and crush the draft. This team is already back at its rightful spot on top of the AFC [Reply]

One of those contracts came with a Super Bowl, the other comes as a prove it deal for a tackle that missed 36 games in 3 seasons. Seems like a steal when you break it down. [Reply]
Veach and Andy’s plan for LT will be fascinating. Not sure what options they have other than drafting a guy, re-signing DJ Humphries and/or Donovan Smith and seeing what can happen next year via FA/draft.
It’s one of those things that I wish I could be a fly on the wall just to hear some of those conversations. I imagine they’ll have something we aren’t thinking about or considering that they get done. [Reply]
The only outside the box option would be to trade someone like Trey or George for a LT, and I don’t know who would do that, or which one we could move for a return like that.
Other than that, it’s probably a combo of a stop-gap FA LT and rookie (like last year and hope it works better), OR we overpay for an okay FA option. [Reply]

It also requires us to find a team with a LT that we'd want, a need that we can fill by trade, and willing to trade with the Chiefs filling a need that makes the Chiefs better. [Reply]

Find a competent LT and it’s immediately better.
I just can’t believe that some combination of the available options won’t be better than Caliendo at LG. He was terrible. [Reply]

Another delusional who thought we were going to re-vamp the whole o-line based on 1 game [Reply]
Not willing to go that far yet...rosters must annually get younger, cheaper, faster. There is still time, but man, does BV ever need to kill this draft. [Reply]
