He was the first HBCU player ever invited to the Senior Bowl, where, from all accounts, he held his own against top competition. The only HBCU player invited to the NFL combine also.

To note, the Chiefs reportedly spoke with him at the Senior Bowl. Scouting reports say he's athletic with great feet but needs to get stronger. I like the kid! It's hard to argue with the upside. All the tools are there. One to keep an eye on throughout the pre-draft process.

Still intrigued, but would probably have to take him higher than I’d like. Someone will bet on that size and athleticism.

Interesting take here, especially the nugget about Todd McShay at 6:47 feeling like Vinson may go on Day 2. I doubt that. Mid/late 4th is about as high as early as I could see him being taken but one never knows.

Same, now that they've signed Jaylen Moore in FA. It's a 2yr deal, exactly the time Vinson would need to develop into a starter. In fact, it'd likely be more than enough time.

Oof. That feels really way too high for him. I guess I see him as far more of a project than others do, though, and that's ok.
