In line with other random threads already opened in this glorious night, let me take the time to applaud the referees for calling an outstanding game. They let both teams play and in the end, Los Jefes came out victorious. Clit has called some reasonable games the last few times the Chiefs played and I think his crew was spot on for the majority of the calls, tonight.:-) [Reply]

They said if it's less than a second, it's considered the same. [Reply]

Ended up helping us as they missed the 2.
I thought about that too, the Bills probably don't get the TD before the half. We probably run the clock out (if don't score a TD first) and then kick the field goal. Either way we are up by 7 or 11 at half instead of 5. [Reply]
So, people are just overlooking the blatant pass interference on the Worthy catch that everyone is freaking out about? That was such an amazing catch by him.
Another one nobody is bringing up because it doesn't fit the narrative they missed a facemask that would have moved us up 15 yards and instead of Mahomes getting sacked and missing on field goal range we would have gotten at least 3 off that drive. [Reply]

They missed a ton of shit - like they always do.
I didn't get any sense that the refs were calling things in favor of either team. Just their normal shitty selves... [Reply]
Social media is going ballistic about kelce taunting. They aren't gonna touch on how it was more taking exception to how mahomes was tackled in the end zone. At least that's how I saw it. And how jawing at another guy is not the same as a guy retaliating by knocking helmets. Absolute worst case scenario the penalties offset. In either case it was enforced on the kick so it has almost no impact ok the game. [Reply]

It wasn't 2 plays ago. It was the previous play, and McDermott threw the challenge flag right before the ball was snapped [Reply]

And it was dumb as hell and didn't matter anyway. [Reply]
I assume Bills fans will swear the league is rigged due to the Worthy catch and 4th down spot on the sneak.
1. The Worthy catch hurt the Chiefs. Moving the ball at will and would’ve had a first down on the hold. That catch allowed the Chiefs to score quick and leave time for the Bills to respond.
2. If you’re relying on a ref to spot the ball 6 inches further then you just didn’t do enough to win. That’s an awful specific request of a ref to make in real time. [Reply]

A lot of people are crying about the spot on 4th down. Considering no one can actually see the ball, I don't know how anyone could make the argument. [Reply]
And yet the bills still had a chance to outright win the game in regulation. They stalled out at midfield down 3. They still failed at the end. [Reply]

The spot was impossible for the refs to get correct. It was an inch either way. Not sure video really can tell. The best shot is not up and down the line but an angle that will make the ball carrier appear more forward. [Reply]
