Nzoner's Game Room>Kelce
Katie 08:30 PM 12-02-2024
Anyone know what’s up? I read an article that said he was in Nashville for Thanksgiving dinner. How could he be there and be in KC for practice? Surely they had practice the day before the Friday game?

Also, he looks really unhappy on the field and left for the locker room right after the game.

This team used to look like they were having fun on the field. Not so much anymore. I watched Young high fiving his players and running around slapping guys on the backs and just enjoying themselves.

Been a long time since I’ve seen that from our guys. I hope the extra two days off will inject some enthusiasm.

Agreed. Every game against the chiefs is the other team's Superbowl. Add in all the extra games they have played over the last two years and it just wears on them mentally and physically.

“I saw you cheer for the Browns.”
“Listen, I’m having a great time here but I have 2 loves. I guess 3 now until Travis retires.”
“Any idea when that will be?”
“No but I’ll tell you, I think it’ll be before Andy”
“Andy isn’t retiring any time soon?”
“Nah, he’s waiting for Bronze”

Tony doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the Chiefs when Kelce breaks the record.

When you have as much success as the Chiefs have had, the regular season victories aren’t the same. You’re no longer trying to get over the hump and into the playoffs or a deep run. It’s expected. The regular season becomes much more of a grind, in which you’re trying to stay healthy. Also, playing in as many playoff games and Super Bowls is taxing mentally and that much more on the body. I don’t expect anyone that’s been on the team a few years to be excited. Especially with how close every game has been.

Since this run started and you add in all the playoff games, its an extra whole season. Thats a lot of extra wear and tear on their bodies.

They need to get rid of these early week off's. A week 5 is way too early.
