And Prince has never really done much outside of practice. So yeah, there's a spot there.
Was thinking about this last night, but i think Steele might see some real snaps this season. He's doing in the NFL what he did in college right out the gate. Those usually end up being pretty damn good players.
Another guy who was like that was Patrick Mahomes....JUST SAYIN'...it's usually a good sign. [Reply]

Yeah, he pretty much is.
The thing with RB in this system is that I've always kinda thought "why do we all pine for a shifty fast guy etc"?
With this offense, just hit the gap and be moving forward. Shit against the light boxes we see, just have vision and move forward....no? [Reply]

A big thing will be if he can pick his spots when the holes aren't wide open like they are on most of these plays.
Also, it's one thing to break out of arm tackles in open space, but it's another thing to move the pile and keep driving, which is the most important thing if you're a short yardage back.
I've always kinda thought the 40 yard time for a RB is a little bit.....not important? I mean yeah, you can't run a 5.0 but how many times are you really running 40 yards?
Vision and center of gravity for the win.....give me a guy that gets me 4 ypc truly. Not a 30 yard run then a bunch of piddly shit. [Reply]

Yep. It barely matters. It might matter on 2 plays a year. [Reply]

Then you have guys like CEH when you need a sundial to time him till reaches LOS which his 40 time is a. Indicator if his play can translate. [Reply]
