Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium is expected to be announced as the of host Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal and ESPN.
According to the reports, an official announcement is expected on Wednesday at the National Football League (NFL) owners meeting in Dallas, Texas.
After how much money they soaked into that stadium for a fledgling franchise devoid of good decisions or morals, they basically took the blueprints for Jerry's World and added a layer of Raiders paint to it to give them another site for Superbowls instead of relying on Jacksonville, or New Orleans all the time. I wouldn't be able to afford to go to a Superbowl anytime soon, but I would for sure take a trip down there in my Mahomes jersey to watch a Draft celebration in April. [Reply]
Such a shame that that beautiful stadium is wasted on the fucking Raiders.
IMO, they should send the Chargers back to San Diego, send the Raiders back to Los Angeles, and make Allegiant a neutral showcase game-of-the-week and permanent Super Bowl host. It would be great for fans, tourism, and wouldn't permanently expose a team to all the myriad of problems that come from having a bunch of rich, young, irresponsible alphas live there permanently.
