We're past the 53 man cut-down, both our rosters are for the most part set in stone. It's time to talk real football.
Ravens lost a few players on defense this offseason, but acquired Henry. LJ has been talking big about how much weight he's lost this offseason to be faster than ever, I suppose. Don't know much about their draft, but the Ravens traditionally draft well so I'll assume the same this year.
We're likely down Hollywood Brown, but no other major injuries.

As usual, I think it’ll be important to get out to an early lead and apply pressure.
I think they run it a ton this year between Lamar and Henry, with some well timed throws.
Lamar is the same passer now as he was 5-6 years ago. Maybe a bit better, but not much of a progression, and its highly unlikely he'll get any better. Might as well build the team around what they KNOW he's good at, which is his elite shiftiness and athleticism. [Reply]

Dude is gonna get lit the fuck up by defenders.
I doubt it. He really does have a weird knack for avoiding big hits.

I think so too.
Especially after that Championship game and the criticism they faced for abandoning the run, I think the likelihood of us seeing a run heavy gameplan is extremely high. [Reply]
I do expect them to run the ball a ton, especially now that they have Henry. They are also going to want to minimize how much Jackson throws it to “protect” him. Their defense has lost some people as well and while it will still be good I don’t see it being as dominant as it was last year. If KC can jump out to an early lead I see them winning. [Reply]
3 starting OL-Morgan Mosses, Kevin Ziegler and John Simpson as well as OBJ and Gus Edwards. Their excellent rookie speed back Keaton is also on PUP and won’t play.
Defense lost Jadeveon Clowney, Patrick Queen, Geno Stone and most importantly Mike McDonald, who I think was the best defensive coach in the league last year.
Their WR room looks really bad. Outside of Zay Flowers, it’s Devontez Walker, Deontae Hardy, Nelson Agholor, Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace.
They’re gonna take a step back this year. I think we win this one 31-20, but it looks closer than what it is bc of garbage time points. [Reply]
All of these season previews seem to be completely glossing over that Baltimore lost multiple OL starters and one of the guys they are slotting into take a job is Daniel Fanene and he fucking sucks ass.
On top of that their defensive coaching staff was raided, they also lost players on that side. Baltimore is not as good as they were last year but because they signed Derrick Henry they're the team now?
Henry showed some serious signs of decline last year on top of all of the rest of this. [Reply]
Not afraid of Henry anymore.. Too many carries and injuries has brought him back to earth from the monster he was.. Never have been afraid of Lamar.. Has to be the most overrated QB in the league… Expect for maybe Allen..:-) [Reply]

I thought the same thing that Henry wasn't the same runner as before but this time he will have fresh legs coming out of the gate. And the Ravens will use him early and often in this game. Spags knows how to shut down a run game though. [Reply]
