If there’s anything that gives Patrick happy feet and causes him to preemptively drift backwards and abandon clean pockets, it’s pressure up the middle.
That compensation suggests the Chiefs see the impact Creed has had for Patrick as a pocket passer. [Reply]

If they do then hopefully it’s not market settling as well. We have one of the most expensive QB, top paid TE, top paid DT, and now top paid C. Still curious what they do with Bolton and when the time comes, McDuffie.
Either way I am glad Creed is still a Chief and trust that Veach knows what he is doing. [Reply]
Called he would get the highest salary for a center. 12.5 a year guaranteed isn't bad. Gotta see how likely it is he gets the other 20mil and how that breaks down [Reply]

Zero chance they use the tag on Bolton. There is no separate designation for OLB and MLB on the tag so they’d be putting a price tag on him for WAY more than they should by tagging him.
Unless he takes a team friendly deal, they’ll likely let him test the market and let him see his value. He's not worth close to what the highest paid OLB’s are getting. Nor would the Chiefs consider paying him as such. [Reply]
