Red Hulk has a weakness, so this final fight is going to be Cap avoiding Red Hulk long enough for that to occur? Doesn't sound too exciting, kinda sounds like Batman vs Doomsday in BVS Dawn of Justice, doesn't really contribute to a fight, just pulls off some nice moves so he doesn't get killed and can deliver the final blow to weaken the monster. When you have Thanos, that the original Cap could only stand in the way of for a limited amount of time, you were always going to get this with anyone other than Bucky. They need to write into his storyline some type of super soldier serum, or else he's just a figurehead that miraculously makes it through every encounter based on plot armor and luck.
I can only handle one Marvel movie at a time, so gimme Deadpool and Wolverine in less than 2 weeks! Then we'll circle back to this. [Reply]

If they’ve got such a hard on for a black Cap, they could introduce Isaiah Bradley’s nephew as Patriot. Give him a blood transfusion from his uncle so he’s got superpowers. That gives us a new Cap and Falcon can keep doing his thing ‘cause seeing Captain American flying around is weird.
They have a hardon for it because Anthony Mackey is arguably the best actor in the MCU at the moment. Also Captain America is a lynchpin character and Falcon becoming Cap is cannon to the comics. [Reply]

Yeah, I know basically everyone’s had a run with the Cap mantle in the comics. They easily could have pushed Bucky into the role too.
Personally, I am just not interested in seeing Falcon in the Cap role.
I think they’d have been better off keeping Falcon as Falcon and bringing in Isaiah Bradley’s grandson as Patriot, who is a Captain America offshoot. They’re not going to top Chris Evans’ Cap so they shouldn’t even try and I feel like that’s what they’re doing here with Cap with Wings.
With Isaiah Bradley’s grandson, they already have some drama built in. He’s regular. Start the story off with him trying to fight crime around the way. He gets hurt, needs a transfusion and the only donor is his grandpa. Transfusion is successful in saving his life and gives him the Super Soldier Serum.
Either that, or they could lean into the John Walker Cap. Evil Cap would be acceptable. [Reply]
Falcon got his ass kicked it seemed like in all the movies and especially in the series….. Shit even Antman had his way with him.. Nothing against Mackey but I don’t like the fit unless he gets juiced somehow.. [Reply]
