I've got a dedicated room in my basement where I have an UST projector for watching games and movies. It's got a mostly red with black, white and yellow concrete floor (is paint flake under epoxy). On the back wall my artist friend is going to put a mural. These are the options I have been given. Any thoughts?
Cool idea. I agree some of them look a bit like bumper stickers, but 2A is the best.
You've gotten sound advice from others in terms of modifications with replacing Chiefs Kingdom. Your concern on so much red seems valid. If it's a media room and dark, could you do a charcoal background with keeping mahomes in red and incoraporating some of the red accents/highlights? Also, if your artist is as good as claimed, I'd throw in 4 super bowl trophies with room to expand when necessary. [Reply]
Depending on the cost and the ability of the artist, I'd consider multiple options for the Mahomes pic. I've always been partial to this one, although it's a little rough. It's after the 60-yard bomb to Watkins vs. the Titans in the AFCCG, which is easily the most emotional I've felt during a Chiefs game.
Everybody saying too generic isn't understanding that I have a budget for the project. More intense/detailed = more cost and I'm not spending a fortune on this.
I have no doubt that Stevie Ray is great (I've seen some of his work) but I'd put my friends typical work up against anyone. [Reply]
